Voici une sélection de quelques photos issues de la première exposition de l'artiste, "89-02". En parcourant une douzaine   d'années de création, Litzler revient sur les recherches et les préoccupations qui jalonnent son parcours: flous, mouvements, la plastiques des tableaux-objets, entre noir et blanc et couleur, entre photos de voyages et voyages intérieurs.       

Here are a few selected pictures from the artist's first exhibition entitled "89-02". Litzler looks back on the research and artistic preoccupation that have fuelled the development of his art for the past 12 years: soft focus, movement, the plastic of paintings as objects, between black and white and colour, travelling shots and inner journeys, between poetical realism and oneiric abstraction.                                                                     

     Après une série de travaux en noir et blanc, l'artiste revient à la couleur par le biais de la technologie numérique. A partir de prises de vues qui ne sont pas sans rappeler "l'action painting", tant par leur exécution que par le résultat, Litzler tente ici de rapprocher le travail du photographe de celui de plasticien quand la photo devient tableau, quand le réel abreuve l'abstraction.

    After working with black and white, the artist returns to colour using digital technology. With shot whose execution and result somewhat recalls "action painting". Litzler tries to establish a connection between the work of the photographer and that of the visual artist. When the photograph becomes a painting and reality leads to abstraction...
